Karrie Jackson White

Karrie Jackson White, age 83, passed away from respiratory failure, Thursday, February, 28, 2013. Born August 17, 1929 in Orange Park, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Cebron Byrd Jackson and Bertha (Kent) Jackson. Karrie was a homemaker and also was the Secretary for White's Men's Shop in Bartow. Karrie was a longtime member of the Bartow First Baptist Church and the Winter Haven Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband; Harry E. White and son-in-law Nolan McLeod. She is survived by a loving family that includes two daughters; Judy Brandon and husband Nathan of Canton, GA, Nancy McLeod of Auburndale, and her son, David White of Bartow. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 8th from 6PM to 8PM at the Bartow First Baptist Church Sanctuary, 410 East Church Street in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 10:00AM Saturday March 9th at the church.
