Karen Marie Summers

Karen Marie Summers,  54, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at home surounded by her loving family. Born December 03, 1963 in Bartow, she was a lifelong resident of the area and a active member of the Faith Holiness Church. Karen devoted her life to the church and to her family as she was always willing to put others before herself. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister; Connie Lynn Smith and is survived by her Daughter; Kayla M Contreras (Josh) of Dundee, FL., Daughter; Suzanne Howell (Jerod) of Mulberry, FL., Son; Stephen Summers of Tampa, FL., Parents; James & Patsy Smith of Lake Wales, FL., Sisters; Donna Goodwin and Cynthia Cribbs both of Lake Wales, FL., and her brother, Vince Smith also of Lake Wales. Grandchildren - Brianna, Dillan, Chloe, Abigail, Emilia, Ethan, Katelyn, Alyssa, Clayton and Isaiah Howell of Mulberry, FL., Lexi & Zoe Summers & Max Deleon of Tampa, FL., Joshua, Levi & Makenzie Contreras of Dundee, FL., Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 01, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 a.m. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville. Karen touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
