Karen Shirley Hilleshiem

Karen Shirley Hilleshiem, age 66, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born December 31, 1959 in Lakeland, FL. Karen graduated from Fort Meade High School class of 1977. She was a Title Agent for MidFlorida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Karen was preceded in death by her father Charles Mack Shirley. She is survived by her husband Gary Hilleshiem, son Ryan & Charity McAuley, sister Janet & Billy Willis, brother Allen & Peggy Shirley, mother Kathryn Shirley, stepson Shane Hilleshiem (Ashley), grandchildren Graeson and Matthew, father & mother-in-law Jeffrey & Linda Hilleshiem, nieces Candice Riddle (Cailyn, Carson, Charleigh, Caysen) and Chelsee Nicholls (Braylon, Bailey, Avery), nephews Hunter Willis and Cody Shirley. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
