Karen A. Godwin

Lakeland- Karen A. Godwin, age 67, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 in Lakeland. Born September 18, 1953 in Lehigh County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard D. and Alice R. (Cowling) Fullagar. Karen was a member of the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant in the healthcare industry for many years. She also volunteered at the Talbot House Good Samaritan Clinic in Lakeland for over ten years. Karen is survived by her husband, Tim Godwin of Lakeland, her sons: Shawn Gillespie of Catasauqua, PA, Chad Gillispie (Rebecca) also of Catasauqua, PA, her brother, Richard Fullagar (Gary) of North Carolina, and her grandchildren: Alyssa, Collin and Cody. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17th at 1:00pm at All Saints Episcopal Church, 209 South Iowa Ave., Lakeland, FL 33801. The service will also be livestreamed at www.allsaintsweb.org. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church at the same address.
