Julia Johnson Keen

Bartow- Julia Johnson Keen, age 77, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Bartow. Born November 7, 1941 in Arcadia, she was the daughter of the late Jess Willard and Bertha (Randall) Johnson. Mrs. Keen had been a resident of Bartow since 1996, moving from Arcadia. She worked for many years as a Lab Technician for Orange-Co Citrus. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Howard and her sister, Barbara Goodman. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, James W. Keen of Bartow, two sons: James R. Keen (Leanne) of Winder, GA, Vinson Keen also of Winder, GA, two daughters: Tammy Keen (Eddie) of Bartow, Julia Darlene Riddell (James) of LaBelle and three sisters-in-law: Louise Keen, Betty Keen and Mary Crumley . She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Poncho. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23rd from 6pm to 8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, November 24th at 1:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
