Judy Nichols

Julia Ann "Judy" Nichols, age 72, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 in Lakeland. Born February 25, 1948 in For Myers, she was the daughter of Amos and Charlotte (Hoge) Jackson. Judy retired from John Deere Landscapes in Lakeland where she worked as a manager. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Rueben Nichols and her brothers: Tommy and David Jackson. Judy is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Jennifer Colon (Steven) of Bartow, James Nichols of Lakeland, Joseph Nichols (Renee) of Bartow, her siblings: Joseph Jackson (Sharon) of Lakeland, Stephen Jackson (Tonya) of Clearwater, Jesse Jackson (Eugenia) of Lakeland, and Andy Jackson (Harriet) of Brooksville. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 10:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
