Judy Diane Eckert

Judith "Judy" D. Eckert, age 56, died Thursday, Sept. 4th from complications of diabetes. Born February 9, 1952 in Bartow, Judy was the daughter of the late Henry and Lorriane (Cribbs) Eckert. Judy was a lifelong Bartow resident. She was a baptist and a former Presidential Physical Fitness Award winner. Judy is survived by a loving family that includes her sister Donna Eckert of Bartow, her brother Hank Eckert also of Bartow, a niece Amanda Eckert of Bartow, and a nephew Josh Eckert of Bartow. She also leaves behind a great niece Madison Eckert and great nephew Trey Picha. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean funeral home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where family will receive friends Sunday Sept. 7th from 4 PM to 6 PM. Services will follow Monday Sept. 8th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
