Judith Ann Lawrence, 84, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Born on May 22, 1941, Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother whose strength, wisdom, and unconditional love were the foundation of her family.
Judith was known for her sharp intellect, creativity, warmth, and love of meaningful conversation. She cherished family traditions, took great joy in cooking, art and writing, and guided those she loved with resilience, humor, and an open, generous heart. Her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration, and her legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched, her works of art, and her published autobiography, poetry and short stories.
She is survived by her children: Julianna Trish (Mike), Sandra Doepel (Byron), Christina Henderson (Lee), and Anthony Vallone (Colleen); and her grandchildren: Jennifer Becker; Jolene and Ben Simmons; Michael Trish; Nikki and Rashad Reid; Rachel and William Bedford; David and Elizabeth Errington; Suzanne Talese; Kevin and Juli Shaw; Kristen Warren; Matthew and Julia Henderson; and Julian Vallone. She was also blessed with 16 great‑grandchildren and cherished each generation deeply.
In accordance with her wishes, Judith’s family will celebrate her life and the many memories she leaves behind. Her love, strength, and guiding spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Natural Burial service will be held on 03/11/2026 at 11:00 AM at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, FL.
