Juanita "Teeter" Gorum

Mrs. Jaunita "Teeter" Gorum, age 76, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at her residence in Bartow of heart failure. A native of Mobile, AL., Mrs. Gorum has been a resident of the Fort Meade area for over 50 years. She was a sectionizer for Ben Hill Griffin Citrus for many years. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Gorum is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry Gorum; Two Sons: Ricky Gorum of Fort Meade, FL., and Gary Gorum of Bartow, FL.; Three Daughters: Sheila Filyaw and Sharon Tillman both of Mulberry, FL., and Sandra Barber of Lake Alfred, FL.; Two Sisters: Lucille Carnley and Viola Colvin both of Fort Meade, FL.; Fourteen Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, Feb. 5, at McLean Funeral Home, 306 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fort Meade Evergreen Cemetery.
