Juan B. Sanchez

Juan B. Sanchez 87, of Fort Meade, FL, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at The Rohr Home in Bartow. Mr. Sanchez was was a native of Mexico and of the Catholic faith. Juan moved to local area in 1960 from Michigan. He owned and operated with his sons, Sanchez Citrus Company, which he founded 42 years ago. A loving husband and father Juan especially enjoyed his work and being a good provider for his family. He is survived by his wife Juana Martinez Sanchez of Fort Meade. Four Daughters; Imelda Armijo of Mexico, Rosalba Armijo of Dallas, TX, Janie Benavidez and Susie Gallegos both of Bartow. Four Sons; Juan A. Sanchez of Bartow, Juan F. Sanchez of Frostproof, Armando Sanchez and Margarito Sanchez both of Fort Meade. One Brother, David Sanchez of Mexico, 27 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 306 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2009, with a prayer service starting at 6:00 pm. Funeral service will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 17, 2009, Father Gilbert Medina officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
