Jossie "Earlene" Copeland

Earlene Copeland, age 85, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Bainbridge, GA. Born February 17, 1934 in Oneonta, AL, she was the daughter of the late George and Armenda (Beason) Battles. Earlene was a longtime resident of Bartow, FL, where she worked for many years for Ametek, a gauge manufacturer. Earlene is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Copeland, and her daughter, Judy A. Jones. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children: Martha Jo Scott, Marlene Battles, Sara Darlene McIntyre (Alfred Bevens) and Ricky Pharris. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 14th from 4pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Graveside services will follow on Monday, April 15th at 10:00am at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
