Josephine Sutton Miller, Ph.D.

Josephine S. Miller, Ph.D. , age 75 and resident of Lakeland, FL, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Bartow. Mrs. Miller was born on January 17, 1943 in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a College Professor and an Episcopalian. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Dee Miller of Lakeland, her children: Deke Miller and Robin Gilileo both of Eagle Lake. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Corey, Emily, Natalie, and her great grandchildren: Riley and Colton. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 21st at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 W. Stuart St. in Bartow. Interment with graveside services will be held in Knoxville, TN on Monday February 26th at 9:30am at Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 500 West Stuart Street, Bartow, FL 33830
