Jonathan Arias, 17 of Lakeland, died on Friday, May 6, 2011, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Born August 19, 1993 in Brandon, Florida, Jonathan has been a lifelong resident of Lakeland. He is survived by his parents: Margarito & Inez M. Arias.; brother, Joel Arias & wife Vanessa of Lakeland, Grandparents: Carmen & Isael Cruz of Coamo, Puerto Rico, three Aunts: Mariel Cruz, Esther Robles both of Coamo, Puerto Rico & Edna L. Cruz of New Haven CT. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 11, 2011, from 5-8 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Israel Vazquez officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
