Johnny E. Carroll

Johnny E. Carroll, age 70, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at his home in Bartow. Born January 26, 1945 in Uvalda, GA he was the son of the late Arthur and Mageline Carroll. Johnny retired from U.S. Steel where he worked as a Dragline Operator. Johnny was a longtime Bartow resident and attended the Bethel Church of God in Bartow. Along with his parents, Mr. Carroll is preceded in death by his brothers: Richard Braddy and Kenneth Carroll. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janie Carroll of Bartow, his siblings: Louise Powell (James) of Winter Haven, Arthur Carroll (Teresa) of Bartow, Jackie Dickson of Waycross, GA, Delores Anderson (Jerry) of Brunswick, GA, Betty Fay Carty (Rusty) also of Brunswick, Mike Carroll (Penny) of Jesup, GA and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 21st from 1pm to 2pm at the Bethel Church of God in Bartow, Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the church.
