John P. Stansel, III

Bartow - John P. Stansel, III, age 81, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025. He was born January 10, 1944 in Fayetteville, NC to John & Charlotte Stansel, Jr. John worked for the Polk County School Board as a Network Manager at the Bartow Elementary Acadamy, where he was also the Chess Coach. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bartow. He was preceded in death by his wife Sondra Sue Stansel. John is survived by his daughter Ann Stansel (Daniel Auto) of Bartow, sister Charlotte Stoughton (John) of Suffolk, VA, five grandchildren Alex, Thomas, Lucas, Joshua and Isabel. Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, November 1, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church, 355 S.
