John Rondello

John Rondello, age 97, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. He was born October 8, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to Mario & Rosaria Rondello. John was a mechanic for United Airlines for 23 years. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria Rondello, son Robert W. Rondello, daughter-in-law Rita (John M.) sister Melchiora "Lena" Cortese and two brothers Andrew Rondello and Ignazio "Jack" Rondello. John is survived by his daughter Linda Acevedo (Luis) of Winter Haven, son John M. Rondello (Carolyn), eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was a devoted family man who loved his work, his children, boating, and travel. In his long life, he was fortunate to travel to multiple states, including Hawaii, and made two trips to Italy and Sicily. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL.
