John Rondello, age 97, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. He was born October 8, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to Mario & Rosaria Rondello. John was a Mechanic and of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gloria Rondello, son Robert W. Rondello, sister Melchior "Lena" Cortese and two brothers Andrew Rondello and Ignazio "Jack" Rondello. John is survived by his daughter Linda Acevedo (Luis) of Winter Haven, son John M. Rondello (Carolyn), eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Burial will be held at St. John Cemetery in Middle Village, NY. Condolences to family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
