Fort Meade - John Wilson McCasey, 72, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL. John was born October 31, 1946 in Detroit, MI. He was in the US Army serving in the Vietnam War where his was the recipient of two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. He was a member of New Beginning Church of God of Fort Meade. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda L McCasey. He is survived by his six daughters; Tammy Troup of Jupiter, Theresa Grenier (Rick) of Carlton, MA, Tonya Troup (Sean Predenville) of Rosindale, MA, Belinda Corrigan of Holland, MI, Schoendorff, Christine of Swartz Creek, MI and Becky Jo Schwartz of Henderson, NV, two sons; Billy Ray Troup (Shirley) of Saginaw, MI and James Troup of Beaverton, OR, five sisters; Michele J. Ogden of South Haven, MI, Mary Wisniewski (Harold) of St. Helen, MI, Mary Ogden of Chicago, IL, Becky Hunter of Fremont, IN, and Jacqueline Scott of Sun City, AZ, two brothers; Jim Davis, Littleton of Littleton, CO and Ken Davis of Lapeer, MI, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with Pastor Larry Barrentine officiating.
