John Kusicko

Lehigh Acres - John Kusicko, age 60, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Lehigh Acres, FL of cancer. Born November 2, 1951 in Cloquet, MN, Mr. Kusicko was a resident of Lehigh Acres for 17 years moving from Bartow. He was a postal worker for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He was a former member of the Florida National Guard. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and recipient. of the Purple Heart. Mr. Kusicko is survived by two brothers: Tim W. Kusicko of Bartow, FL & Rick Kusicko of Kamiah, ID; sister: Cynthia Kusicko of Alpharetta, GA; neice: Janel Mercer and two great nephews: Kaden & Kavan Mercer all of Kamiah, ID; girlfriend: Opal Owens & family of Alturas. Family will receive friends Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 16, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
