John W. Cartwright, Jr. age 89, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born January 19, 1936 in NewYork, NY. John is a United States Marine. He worked for the New York City Transit Authority. He was Catholic. He was preceded in death by his wife Claudelle Cartwright. John is survived by his daughter Cynthia Bowe-Bullock & husband Benjamin of Brooklyn, NY, three sons Obiora Cartwright, Sr. & wife Lawreida, Johnny Cartwright and Dwayne Parker & wife Edwine, two step sons Tony Francis & wife Carol and Billy Francis, sister Sheila Cartwright, grandchildren Lawray Cartwright, Obiora Cartwright, Jr., Jaden Cartwright, Andrew Bullock, Syd Bullock, great grandchildren Jace, Isaiah, Noah and Benjamin, many other loving family members and friends. The Cartwright family would like to give a special Thank You to Mr & Mrs Rob Nagel for all their help and his health aides Ms. Betty and Ms.Carmen.
