John A. Smith

John A.Smith, 74, a Native of Bartow passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 from cancer. John was born in Bartow on July 27, 1937 and lived all his life in Alturas, except for a brief 8 years in Welaka, FL on the St. John's River. John worked in the Citrus Industry. He was a pilot and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents; Fred & Margeurite Voigt Smith He is survived by his wife of 23 years; Margaret Grace Smith of Bartow. Daughter; Pat Delle Donne & husband Ken of Bartow. Step Daughter; Tammy Sutton & husband Jamey of Lakeland and Step Son; Travis Carr & wife Regina of Bartow. Two brothers; Donald Smith of Bartow & Jimmy Smith of Minnesota. Six Grandchildren - Emily Delle Donne, Natalie Delle Donne, Matthew Delle Donne, Tiara Reed, Steven King and Taylor Carr.
