Joann Corson Hogeback

Joann Corson Hogeback, age 74, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Ms. Hogeback was born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky on February 3, 1938. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ms. Hogeback was a longtime area resident and was currently residing in Port Richey. Ms. Hogeback worked in the Accounts Payable Department for Highland Homes in Lakeland for over 15 years. She is preceded in death by her son Dickie Hogeback. She is survived by loving family that includes two sons; Gregory A. Hogeback of Port Richey, David S. Hogeback of Valdosta, GA, and her daughter Jennifer Ann Hogeback of Tampa. She also leaves behind four siblings; Clarence Corson, Jr., Linda Penrod, Page McCright, and Patricia Francis. Ms. Hogeback's spirit and kindness will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4th from 10AM to 11AM. Services will follow at 11AM at the funeral home chapel.
