Joann Blair Franz

JoAnn Franz 66 of Auburndale passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in Cookville, TN from a accident. Born in Sampson, AL she was a lifelong resident of the area. JoAnn was a homemaker and also worked as a receptionist at Gessler Clinic in Winter Haven for 14 years. A member of The Blessed Assurance Temple in Bartow, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and very active in the lives of her children and the local community. JoAnn is survived by her husband of 43 years Robert A. Franz of Auburndale. Two sons Richard Franz, his wife Dawn and their children Maddie and Morgan of Winter Haven. Ronnie Franz, his wife Jennifer and their children Riley and Kendyll of Cookville, TN. Two brothers Wayne Blair of DeFuniack Springs and Leroy Blair of Winter Haven. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th from 6-8pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 11am at The Blessed Assurance Temple in Bartow and burial in Auburndale Memorial Park.
