Joan Margaret Minnear, 69, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her residence in Bartow. Born June 6, 1945 in Mansfield, OH, Mrs. Minnear was a resident of Bartow since 2005, moving from Fort Pierce, FL, She was a member the First Assembly Church of God of Fort Meade. Mrs. Minnear was a member of the C.M.A.. She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Norval R. "Bobby" Minnear of Bartow; three sons: Robert W Minnear (Paula) & Duwayne Minnear, both of Jacksonville; James L Minnear (Kristen) of Pinellas Park; two brothers: Ronald Noel (Ruth), Shellby, OH. & Dwight Noel (Kay), Mansfield, OH. sister: Leslie Thomas (Rusty) of Van Buren, AR; seven grandchildren: Brandon, Tylor, Noel, Chase, Chandler, Walker & Garrett, four great grandchildren: Nathon, Carter, Olivia & Braelyn. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
