Mr. Jimmy Lee Miller, age 49, of Bartow, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Miller worked as a diesel mechanic for Hicks Industries in Mulberry. Jimmy was an avid motorcycle rider and loved spending time with his dog "Junior."
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Tami Miller; A daughter, Joy Scriven and her husband Mike of Mulberry, his mother Bonnie Miller of Kathleen, sisters, Lois Tenpenny of McMinnville, Tenn., Janie Partin of Cleveland, Ga., Inas Howard of Winter Haven. Also surviving him are his brothers, Richard Miller of McMinnville, Tenn., Joe Miller of Plant City, Andy Miller of Mulberry, Tommy Miller of Kathleen, his grandchildren Cody, Seth and Miranda Scriven, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, Fla., from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Wed., Jan. 31, 2007. Services will follow at 6:30 PM at the funeral home chapel.
