Jimmie E. Helms

Bartow - Jimmie E. Helms, age 72, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at his residence Bartow. Born July 8, 1944 in Winter Haven, Mr. Helms was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Systems Engineer for a telecommunications company for several years. He is survived his wife of 52 years: Marcia H. Helms, Bartow; two sons: Tim J. Helms, Bartow & Kevin A. Helms (Heather) of Holly Springs, NC; a daughter: Heidi Kangas (Luke), Bartow; a granddaughter: Dovie Kangas, Batow and a grandson: Ethan Helms of Holly Springs, NC. Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
