Mrs. Adkinson was born February 2, 1919 in Nashville, GA. She was a citrus grader and a member of Church of God of Bartow. She is survived by her husband Marlin Adkison of Bartow. Three Step-Daughters, Frances Walden of Bartow, Patsy Adkison of Denver, CO and Sandra Bashlor of Lakeland. One Sister, Mrs. Rubby Stone of Jasper, GA Two Brothers, Mr. Tom Courson of Atlanta, GA and Mr. Quinton Courson of Bartow. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street, Bartow, FL, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Funeral service will be at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 10, 2008 , Rev. Elwood F. Kern officiating. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
