Jim Vernon Fiveash

October 4, 1935 — December 15, 2012

James "Jim" Vernon Fiveash 77 of Bartow passed away on December 15, 2012 from respiratory failure at the Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland. A native of Homerville, GA he moved to the area in 1962 from there. Jim was a truck driver and a Airforce Veteran of the Korean War. He was also of the Baptist faith. He especially enjoyed horses, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Helen Fiveash; two sons Jim Fiveash and wife Traci; Joe Fiveash and wife Kelly all of Bartow. Two daughters Charity Harris and husband Tony of Wichita, KS; Pamela Lambert and husband Nathan of Lakeland. 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 20th at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home from 6-8pm with a graveside service to follow on Friday at 10am at Lakeland Memorial Gardens in Lakeland.
