Jesse L. Roop

Jesse L. Roop, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Winter Haven. Born August 21, 1939 in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Edward and Hattie (Keaton) Roop. Jesse retired from the City of Bartow after many years of service. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers and one sister. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Becky Roop, his son Ronny Roop (Kayla) and his daughter Teresa Sisk (Gene) all of Bartow. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 10am to 11am at the Vineyard Church of God in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church.
