Jesse Perez, Sr.

Bartow - Jesus "Jesse" Perez, Sr, age 88, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Winter Haven, Florida. He was born January 25, 1930 in Havana, Cuba to Constantino and Maria Villota Perez and moved to Bartow in 1968. He was the General Manager of the Peace River Country Club in Bartow for many years and had many fond memories of all of the wonderful people he met during his career. He enjoyed baseball, dominos and golf. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.  Jesse loved his family and was preceded in death by his wife Rebeca. He is survived by two sons, Jesus “Jesse” Perez, Jr. (Mary) and Fernando Perez (Emily); a daughter, Ana McClure (Scott); six grandchildren, Lesley Perez, Brad Perez (Lacee), Loren Perez, Megan Perez, Morgan McClure (Ali) and Matthew McClure; and two great grandchildren, Dax Perez and Timber McClure. Family will receive friends July 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Terrace Way, Lakeland, FL 33813. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at the Church.   Interment will be held at Bartow Wildwood Cemetery after the Mass. Condolences to family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com
