Jerry R. West, Sr.

Fort Meade - Jerry R. West, Sr. 80, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. Jerry was born October 19, 1937 in Lake Wales, FL. Mr. West served in the United States Army. He was a Mechanic for IMC/Agrico/Mosaic Phosphate for over 31 years. He was a member of the Fort Meade First Baptist Church. Jerry loved racing and built race cars with his sons. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara West. He is survived by his two sons; Robbie West & wife Rita of Bartow and Keith West & wife Lina of Homeland. Four grandchildren; Ross West, Ryan West, Lauren West and Lance West. Family will receive friends Monday, January 15, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Funeral service will follow Monday, January 15, 2018, at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
