Jerry T. Myers, Sr

Winter Haven - Jerry T. Myers, Sr, age 67, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven of complications of a stroke. Born October 13, 1946 in Enterprise, AL, Mr. Myers was a resident of Winter Haven for 15 years, moving from Texas, He was a retired public works director. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce serving in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Myers was survived by his wife Mary A. Myers, Winter Haven; son: Jerry T Myers, II, College Station, TX; two daughters: Barbara S. Doughty, Fort Branch, IN; Janet Myers, Pleasant Grove, TX; three sisters: Gail Whittington, Auburndale, FL; Fay Sheils, Auburndale; Ann Swartz, Winter Haven; three brothers: Nathan Tew, David Myers, both of Winter Haven & Larry Myers, Eagle Lake, FL & 8 grandchildren. Interment will be held at Gandy Cemetery, Connersville, FL at a later date.
