Bartow - Jerry W. Kirkland, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. Born June 16, 1951 in Bellaire, OH, Mr. Kirkland was a resident of Bartow since 1968, moving from Ohio, He was a construction supervisor for McDonald Construction for over 40 years. Mr. Kirkland is survived by his wife: Cevie Kirkland; son: Jerry Kirkland, Jr. ( Karen ) all of Bartow; daughter: Kelly Cribbs (Regi), Oklahoma; four brothers: Terry Kirkland (Brenda), Jay Marple (Linda) & Danny Marple all of Bartow; John Skapik (Beverly) of Georgia; seven grandchildren & one great grandchild. Family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow.
