Jerry W. Jones

Jerry W. Jones, age 54, of Bartow died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Born November 24, 1954 in Bartow, Mr. Jones has been a longtime resident of the area. He was a heavy equipment operator in highway construction for many years. He was preceded in death by his father: Roy R. Jones. He is survived by his daughter: Kathryn E. Jones of Fort Meade; son: Christopher A. Jones of Albany, Ore., mother: Laura M. Jones of Fort Meade; brother: Robert A. Jones of Naples; & one grandson: Indiana Jones of Albany, Ore. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 21, from 9-10 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
