Jerry A. Bankos

Bartow- Jerry A. Bankos, 75, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at his residence. Born January 16, 1935 in Cementon, PA, Mr. Bankos has been a resident of Bartow since 2003, moving from Northampton, PA. Mr. Bankos was a supervisor for Ingersoll Rand Pump Manufactoring of Allentown, PA for over thirty years. He was a member of the Saint Thomas Catholic Church of Bartow; Knights of Columbus; past president of the Floral Lakes Social Club; an avid bowler & golfer. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Patricia Bankos of Bartow; son: Jerome A. Bankos, Jr. (Maryann) of Northampton, Pa.; daughter: Jenn Sensenig (Al) of New Port Richey, FL; sister: Colette Semler of Northampton; brother: Dennis Bankos of Cementon, Pa.; 8 Grandchildren:Chris Bankos (Cherry); Alicia Bankos; Sean Bankos; Josh Kroon; Jake Kroon; Tasha Christman (Chad); Marissa Heffelfinger; Jared Sensenig; 4 Great Grandchildren: Talena Ann; Alexis; Krystol & Kristopher. A memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 8, at 9:00 am at Saint Thomas Catholic Church, 2180 S. Kissingen Ave, Bartow with a reception following at Floral Lake Club House in Bartow.
