Jerre Brian Sadler

Jerre Brian Sadler, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at his home in Bartow. Born August 20, 1944, in Navasota, TX, he was the son of the late John W.H. Sadler and Dorothy Joan (DeMerritt) Sadler. Jerre was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1963 - 1967. Jerre graduated from Florida State University in 1972 and was an avid fan of anything related to FSU, backing up his love of his university by being a booster supporter and season football ticket holder. He retired from the State of Florida after serving as a Probation Officer in Winter Haven. He loved riding his Harley motorcycles and was a master scuba diver. Jerre made diving trips all over the world, including Egypt, Fiji, Roatan, Cancun, and the Cayman Islands. He was also involved with the scouting program for many years. His favorite activity was organizing the area Pinewood Derby. Mr. Sadler was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lakeland Highlands Ward. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Lynn L. Sadler of Bartow, Michael Bambridge (Rebecca) of Bartow and Jacqueline Ehlers (Derek) of Cape Coral. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Ally, Brooke, Mason, Preston and Aaron. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12th from 10 am to 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5850 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL 33813. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the church.
