Jennifer Thomas Sowell

Bartow - Jennifer T. Sowell, age 68, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Kindred Hospital of Tampa of heart failure. Born September 25, 1945 in Cardova, AL, Mrs. Sowell was a resident of Bartow since 1961, moving from Alabama. She was the former owner of C.J.'s Main Street Cafe of Bartow for several years. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sowell is preceded in death by her husbands Quentin Thomas & Charles Sowell. She is survived by a daughter: Theresa Medler [Donnie] of Bartow; three sons: Henry Sullivan [Holly] of West Palm Beach; Myrone Sullivan [Rhonda] & Joseph Sullivan, both of Bartow, six grandchildren & one great grandchild. Family will receive friends Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 4-6 P.M. at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will follow Monday, at 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment in Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
