Jennie L. Hall

Jennie L. Hall, age 86, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Bartow. Born, April 12, 1931 in Benham, KY, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruby Fern (Andis) King. Mrs. Hall worked as a waitress and bartender at John's Restaurant in Bartow for many years. Jennie attended the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield. Along with her parents and two brothers, Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by her husband Douglas E. Hall (2000) and her son David F. Hall (2007). She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Douglas K. Hall (Karen) of Lakeland, her daughter Malissa L. Hall of Lytle, TX, her two grandsons: Jordan Hall and Tyler Hall and her siblings: John E. King of Ten Mile, TN, Sue Burton of Detroit, MI, and Judy Bierman of Dearborn, MI. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 26th from 1pm to 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Lake Garfield. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2:00pm at the church. Prior to the visitation at 12:00 noon, a covered dish luncheon will be hosted in the fellowship hall by the women of the church who served with Jennie for many, many years.
