Jeffrey Chandler Murphy

Jeffrey Chandler Murphy, Jeff lived 51 years as a native Floridian and Bartow resident. He died June 9, 2021 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He was born August 30, 1969 in Bartow, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Katie Murphy of 21 years, his parent’s Jim and Janice Murphy, his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Jamie Murphy, and his niece Morgan Murphy. A memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, Bartow, on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution in Jeff’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 2301 Maitland Center Parkway, Unit 126, Maitland, Fl. 32751. Jeff was a kind, loving husband that lived his life like the Robert Frost poem; “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.” Jeff loved and was loved.
