Jeanne Duncan Scott

Bartow - Jeanne Duncan Scott, 88, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Jeanne was born September 23, 1927 in Venice, FL. She was a Administrative Secretary at the State Attorneys Office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Betz and grandson Jimi Lee Blackshear. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Frank M. Scott. Two daughters Jeanne Sherrard (Tony) of Lakeland & Vay Zagardo (Larry) of Winter Haven and two sons Hugh Scott (Polly) & Barron Scott both of Bartow. Eight grandchildren Duncan Sherrard (Diane), Robert Betz, Ryan Sherrard (Kati), Kimberly Betz, Jessica Slaughter (Jay), Sarah Scott, Heather Scott & Frank Scott and seven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Monday, February 22, 2016 from 10 to 11 am at First Baptist Church of Bartow. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 22, 2016, at 11:00 am First Baptist Church of Bartow. Interment will be held at 3:00 pm Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia, FL.
