Jeanette Brantley Massey

Mrs. Jeanette Brantley Massey 76 of Auburndale died Jan. 11, 2009 of Heart Failure at Palm Terrace Hospice of Lakeland. Born in Soperton, GA. she was a lifelong resident of Polk County. Jeanette was a Homemaker a member of the Innwood Baptist in Winter Haven. She is survived by 3 daughters; Elaine Bowman (Johnny) of Lakeland; Sherian Albritton (James) of Mulberry and Jackie Powell of Zephyrhills; 1 son David Powell of Zephyrhills; 1 sister Frances Whitaker of Haines City; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009 from 1-2pm and services will follow at 2pm at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home Chapel of Bartow. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL 33823.
