Jeanette H. Johnson

Mrs. Jeanette H. Johnson, age 79, passed away from respiratory failure Monday April 13, 2009 in Lake Wales. Born January 16, 1930 in Ponce De Leon, Florida, Mrs. Johnson was a longtime area resident and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband James Johnson. She is survived by two sons; Rev. DeWayne Johnson of Winter Haven, Gene Johnson of Lake Wales, two daughters; June Justice of Salisbury, PA, Diane Johnson of Lake Wales, three brothers; Glenn Hayes of Lake Wales, Gene Hayes of Bartow Jimmy Hayes of Lakeland and a sister Wynell Cribbs of Bartow. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where family will receive friends Wednesday April 15th from 6 to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 16th at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
