Jean O'Doski

Jean O'Doski, age 82, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Savannah Court in Bartow, FL. She was born February 3, 1942 in Mobile, AL to Olin & Lily Alford. Jean graduated from Bartow Sumerlin Institute class of 1961 and then attended Erskine College. She was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church of Bartow. She was a Secretary for the Public Defender 10th Judicial Circuit. Jean was also a substitute teacher, a member of the Garden Club, she volunteered at the Bartow Chamber of Commerce and she helped with the nonprofit organization kidsPACK. She was preceded in death by her husband Gail O'Doski and brother Wayne Alford. Jean is survived by her daughter Ashley O'Doski (Bill Crowell) of Lakeland, son Rhett O'Doski & wife Ivette of Coral Gables, three grandchildren Ashton Taft Grupi, R.J. O'Doski and Ivette Gloria O'Doski. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Stanford Street in Bartow, FL. Burial will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
