J.C. Rawson

Mr. J.C. Rawson died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in Bartow. He was 95. Born on September 25, 1912 in Kosciusko, Mississippi, Mr. Rawson was a longtime Bartow resident and worked in the citrus industry. He was also a member of Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Bartow. He is survived by his wife, Iris Rawson of Bartow, two sons; Wayne Rawson and Billy Rawson. He also leaves behind four step children; Cecil Williamson of Lakeland, David Williamson of Bartow, Grady Williamson of Alturas, Sandra Mosley of Bartow, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Whidden-McLean Funeral Home 650 East Main Street in Bartow where family will receive friends Monday, November 26, 2007 from 10 to 11 AM. Services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel.
