Sebring - Janet Skinner, age 73, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She was born June 3, 1951 in Fairbanks, VA to Alton & Gloria Allgood. Janet worked in the Restaurant business. She loved cooking, camping and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Joan Fields and Linda Wadesworth. Janet is survived by her sister Mavis Lancaster of Sebring, brother Alton Michael Allgood of Wauchula, niece April & husband Shone Simpson of Chuluota, niece Crystal Chambers of Bartow, nephew John Johnson of Sebring, niece Belinda Hoglund & husband Karl of Sebring, niece Stacy Allgood of Live Oak, numerous cousins, great nieces & great nephews, as well as her beloved cat, Kit. Family will receive friends Friday, June 14, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 AM at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade, FL. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am Friday, June 14, 2024, at McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
