Janet Lynn Simon

Janet Lynn Simon, age 73, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024. She was born August 19, 1950 in Kankakee, IL to Merle & Frances Pool. Janet was a Receptionist for the Polk County Tax Collector. She was preceeded in death by her two husbands Stephen Simon and Ronald Turnipseed, Jr., son Jarod Simon, sister Carol Craver and brother Victor Pool. Janet is survived by her two daughters Carrie Brunson (Chris) and Julie Simon (Randel Daniels), two grandchildren Elizabeth Nichols (Jacob) and Kristyn Daniels (Travis Talley) and two great grandchildren Logan and Ryleigh. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
