Janet R. Glisson

Janet R. Glisson, age 76, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was born June 8, 1947 in Lyons, GA to John & Geraldine Reese. Janet moved to Bartow from Georgia in 1970. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of Turning Point Worship Center of Bartow. She was preceded in death by her husband James Glisson, brother Charlie Reese and sister Peggy Tootle. She is survived by her brother Bobby Reese of Reedsville, GA, sister-in-law Linda Marple & husband Jay of Bartow, step daughter Celena Lee of Fort Meade and numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Monday, July 24, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home.
