Janet A. Essary

Janet A. Essary, 62, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at her residence in Lakeland. Born January 16, 1953 in Selma, IN, Mrs. Essary was a resident of Lakeland for eight years , moving from Bartow. She was employed by the Polk County Drug Court for thirty years, which will be dedicated on August 18, 2015 as the Janet A. Essary Drug Court Lab. She retired in July 2015 as the Lab Coordinator. Janet is survived by her husband: Patrick Essary of Lakeland, a daughter: Deanna Pavlou, Greenwich, CT, two sons: Chris Milligan, Dallas, TX and Caleb Brooks of Lakeland, mother: Shirley Pittenger, Bartow, sister: Linda Rahmatian of Iran, five grandsons: John Brooks, Tristen Pavlou, Andrew Pavlou, Jake Milligan and Luke Milligan. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main Street, Bartow.
