James Allen Wright

Mr. James Allen Wright passed away from heart failure Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at home in Lakeland. He was 58. Born December 2, 1948 in Jesup, Georgia, he was the son of the late Harold J. Wright and Martha Wright of Bartow and the grandson of the late Maye and Allen Clary formerly of Odum, GA. Mr. Wright graduated from Bartow High School in 1966. He went on to also graduate from Polk Community College and also earn a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of New York at Albany. Mr. Wright was a veteran on the Vietnam war. He served in the Marine Corps. Later, Mr. Wright joined the U.S. Army from which he retired in January of 1991. He was also a member of the Association of the Purple Heart. Mr. Wright is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Catherine "C.J." Wright of Lakeland, his son Sean Allen Wright also of Lakeland, and his mother, Martha Wright of Bartow. Funeral services for Mr. Wright will be Saturday July 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church 500 West Stuart Street in Bartow.
