James D. Watson

Lakeland - James D. Watson, age 73, passed away August 14, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice - Lakeland. He was born on February 24, 1951, in Geneva, AL. He was a Laborer in the Asphalt industry. He enjoyed walking the flea market, fishing, horseback riding and watching NASCAR & football. He was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas Watson, Henry Watson and Rex Watson. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Donna Watson of Lakeland, daughters Tonia Thompson of Mulberry & Joyce Warren of Lakeland, sons Rusty Watson of Athens , GA & Willis Bunch of Lakeland, sisters Laura Fillinger of Lakeland & Ruth Watson of Lakeland, brother William Watson of Lakeland, 13 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
