James Thomas Northup

Bartow - James Thomas Northup, 85, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at his residence in Bartow. Mr. Northup was born April 11, 1929 in Bowling Green, FL. He was a Master Carpenter. Mr. Northup also enjoyed bowling, fishing, stained glass art, archeology and treasure hunting. He was preceded in death by his son James Northup and great granddaughter Sheyenne Northup. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Edith V Northup of Bartow. Daughter Vicky E Masingill of Natchitoches, LA, granddaughter Heather Rauenhorst of North Pole, AK, daughter-in-law Rosita Northup of Bartow, two grandsons Jason Northup of Bartow & Jeremy Northup of Hollywood, MD. Two sisters Pansy Shepard & Violet Bass both of Bartow, FL and seven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00 am at Mt Pisgah Baptist Church 6210 Mt. Pisgah Road in Fort Meade. Burial will be at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Fort Meade.
